Our Club

The main focus for our club lifters (9+ years of age) is to learn safe and sound techniques, and not to lift maximum weights until they have mastered the basics.


It is advised that you wear loose tracksuit bottom (or running tights), weightlifting shoes and a t-shirt.




🏋🏼 no previous experience is needed.    🏋🏼 no need to book, just come along.    🏋🏼 super friendly,  but hard working sessions.

Our Mission

“Raise The Bar” Olympic Weightlifting Club aims to make a positive contribution to the personal, social, academic and technical development of all school-age lifters.

By providing a safe, professional learning environment it is expected that individuals will be given the opportunity to maximise their potential. In pursuit of this goal, the coaching staff will help each player to ‘be the very best that they can be.’

The ultimate objective is to raise “local gifted and talented” weightlifters who could represent our local region, nationally and internationally.
